On November 8, 2013 the New Castle Theatre Arts class gave the debut performance of “Sleepy Hollow High School.” While the manuscript is still being processed for publication, I thought I’d share some of the shots from this fun show. I couldn’t have written it without the inspiration from my students. They are the ones who brought the characters to life and partially experienced the writing phase with me as I put it together. I was handing them early scenes to start learning and still didn’t know what the end of the play would be. The students kept asking me, “How’s it going to end?” And my answer was, “I don’t know, but I can’t wait to find out.” That’s the writing process for me. No outline. Just characters telling a story. The play will soon be ready for publication.
